Gas Leak on Ballyrashane Road, Coleraine

Police and Firefighters are currently on scene following reports of a gas leak on the Ballyrashane Road in Coleraine.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) are currently attending a report of a  gas leak at the Ballyrashane Road area of Coleraine this afternoon (Monday 22nd February).

“2 Fire Appliances from Coleraine Fire Station and 2 Fire Appliances from Lisburn Fire Station were deployed to the scene. Two residential properties have been evacuated. Firefighters are assisting engineers with a gas leak in the area and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

“There are no further details at this stage.”
