Gunshots fired outside house in Ballysally

Detectives in Coleraine are investigating a shooting incident at a house in the Elms Park area in the early hours of Tuesday 5th July.

Loud bangs were reported outside the house at around 00.20am in the area. Following an inspection of the front of the house by the occupant, a number of bullet holes were found to the glass panel of the front door. There were no reports of any injuries to the man and woman who were at home at the time of the incident.

Detective Sergeant Wallace said, “ Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference 10 05/07/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
