Admission is free for everyone.

Desima Connelly, Arts and Cultural Services Manager for Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre commented; “from Thursday 29th October until Saturday 31st October, a ‘Scary Art Club’ for children will take place in the Centre.

“I’d encourage parents and guardians to sign your kids up for these amazingly spooky creative two-part workshops where they will make frighteningly good masks, treat bowls, hats and props for Halloween parties. Materials will be provided, but make sure children wear clothes that you won’t mind getting messy!”

This event costs £15 and will run as two workshops: Workshop number one is for 5 to 7 year olds, running from 12.30pm until 2.30pm. Workshop two is for 8 to 12 year olds, running from 12.30pm until 2.30pm. To book a place, call the Box Office on 028 777 60650.

Desima continued, “As part of the Centre’s Film Hub NI and British Film Institute funded film programme, I will be presenting a spine-tingling screening of acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick’s classic ‘The Shining’ on Friday, 30th October at 10.30pm. (Certificate 15).

“On Saturday 31st October a children’s’ Hallowe’en Party will take place at Drumceatt Square which is outside the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, from 3.00pm until 5.00pm.
