Health Minister “committed” to Causeway Hospital.

Health Minister Jim Wells has asserted his commitment to the Causeway Hospital during a debate in Stormont.

The topic was raised by the SDLP MLA for East Londonderry, John Dallat.

During the debate a number of MLAs praised the services of Causeway Hospital and expressed their desire for it to remain as an Acute Hospital and for services to be upgraded.

In response to a number of questions and points made by MLAs, the Health Minister said that he is Committed to retaining the Causeway Hospital as a local acute hospital.
