House robbed at knifepoint in Culmore Road, Derry / Londonderry

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary at a house in the Culmore Road area of Derry/Londonderry pn Thursday, 25 February.

Shortly before 8.30pm the occupants of the house returned home to find two unknown males in it. One of the males had a knife. When the occupants challenged the intruders they left the property.

They stole a set of car keys.

The occupants of the house were not injured, however they were left very badly shaken.

Detective Constable Kavanagh would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Detectives at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
