Lifeboat launched to reports of Surfer in Difficulty at East Strand.

At 12:06pm this afternoon, Sunday, 26th April, Portrush Inshore Lifeboat was launched after reports came in to the station of a surfer in difficulty off the East Strand.

After arriving at the scene it became clear that the surfer was not in any difficulty and the Lifeboat returned to the station.

Portrush Inshore lifeboat launched at 12.06 to reports of a surfer in difficulty at East Strand. All was ok and the ILB returned to station.
