Limavady man convicted of Benefit Fraud

A man was convicted at Limavady Magistrates’ Court yesterday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.

Thomas Moore (60) of Roe Mill Gardens, Limavady claimed Disability Living Allowance totalling £4,141 while exaggerating his disability. He was given a two year conditional discharge.

He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
