Local jobs boost very welcome in the Ballymoney area.

Ulster Unionist Councillor and Deputy Mayor Darryl Wilson has welcomed the news that the Dowds group, a local mechanical and electrical contractor are to expand their workforce by creating 46 new jobs.

The new jobs include positions in management, technical and business development, as well as plumbing and electrician positions.

Cllr Wilson said “The new jobs will add over £980,000 annually in salaries to the local economy giving the town a much needed boost. I would like to wish the Dowds group every success for the future.”
