Detectives in Coleraine are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a property in the Greenhill Road area of Ballymoney on Monday 16th November.
Detective Sergeant Kelly Gallagher explained: “Sometime between 8:15pm and 8:30pm, five masked males armed with crow bars entered the property. They assaulted both the male and female occupants of the house before demanding money.
The culprits then ransacked the house before making off in a vehicle with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The couple were not seriously injured however were left shaken by their ordeal.
We are investigating this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the Knock Road and Greenhill Road area last night and noticed any suspicious activity, or anyone with any other information to contact detectives at Coleraine police station on 101.
