Police arrested a 36 year old man and seized drugs with an estimated street value of around £4,400 after the search of a house in Rasharkin yesterday (Wednesday 30 September).
Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “The drug that was seized was a white powder and is thought to be ecstasy. The man was later charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and importing a controlled drug. He appeared in Coleraine magistrates Court today (Thursday 01 October).
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
