Police in Coleraine are appealing for information following a burglary at a church in the Abbey Street area on the morning of Thursday 3 September.
It is believed the burglary was committed by two men and a woman and occurred at approximately 7am. A laptop, television, DVD player and a sum of money were taken.
One of the men is described as being tall and slim and was wearing a white cap, dark top and navy tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe. The other man was wearing a light coloured top while the woman has blonde hair and was wearing a light grey hooded top and black leggings.
Constable Alan McGowan said: “The television and DVD player were found later that morning in the Abbey Street area. A 21 year old man was arrested in the Railway Place area on Thursday afternoon on suspicion of burglary and going equipped for theft. He was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
“I would ask anyone with any information about this burglary to contact Coleraine Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
