Man arrested over House Fire in Portstewart

Police investigating a fire at a house in the Enterprise Parade area of Portstewart in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, 6 March have arrested a 35-year-old man.

The fire was reported at approximately 3am this morning and appliances from Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart attended the scene.

None of the residents of the house were at the property at the time of the fire, no injuries have been reported.

The 35-year-old man remains in Police Custody and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
