Man Charged Following An Arrest In the Orkney Drive area of Ballymena yesterday evening

A 34 year old male has been charged with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of criminal damage, threats to kill, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, resisting police, common assault, 4 counts of assault on police, disorderly behaviour and breach of bail.

He is expected to appear before Antrim Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday 14 October. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in connection with the arrest of a man following an incident in the Orkney Drive area of Ballymena yesterday evening, Monday, 12 October.
