Man charged with threats to cause criminal damage to Mosque

Causeway Coast and Glens police have arrested and charged a 30 year old man with threats to commit criminal damage. He was arrested in Coleraine yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 25 November).

The man is due to appear in Coleraine Magistrates Court today (Thursday 26 November). As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

The charge relates to comments made concerning a Mosque in the Causeway Coast and Glens area. The comments were made via social media earlier this month.
