Man has cheek fractured in Limavady Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the Benevenagh Drive area of Limavady last night, Tuesday 14 July.

At around 11pm it was reported that a man, aged in his 20’s, had been assaulted.  He was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected fractured cheek as a result.

Detective Sergeant Wilkinson is appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone with any information to contact Detectives in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.  Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
