Man, Woman & Child Taken To Hospital Following RTC On The Windyhill Road

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 10:43am to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision at the Windyhill Road area of Coleraine this morning (Thursday 27th August).

“2 Fire Appliances from Coleraine Fire Station and one Fire Appliance from both Portstewart and Limavady Fire Stations were deployed to the scene of a road traffic collision involving two cars. Firefighters using cutting equipment rescued a female from one of the vehicles. She has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to her injuries.

“Three people were rescued by Firefighters and Northern Ireland Ambulance personnel from the second vehicle. A man, woman and child were taken to a nearby hospital.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the incident at 11:47am.”
