1 Mins read

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary in The Crescent area of Coleraine on Friday, 13 May.

At approximately 5.25pm the occupier of the house answered a knock to his door. On opening the door a masked man forced his way in and assaulted him.

The man received a head injury, which required hospital treatment.

Detective Inspector Stewart would appeal to anyone who may have noticed a lone male, aged between 25-30 years old walking from The Crescent area on the path towards Harpurs Hill at around 5.25pm/5.45pm to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
