McCandless responds to burnt out car on Castlerock Beach

Councillor William McCandless has responded to reports received today of a burnt out car on Castlerock Beach.

In a statement, Cllr McCandless said : “I was contacted by numerous constituents today to make me aware that there has been a car burnt out on Castlerock beach.”

“I have been in touch with the relevant authorities in a bid to have the car removed as soon as possible. I have also asked that the area be checked for any potential contamination from the incident, if any has ooccurred a clean up will be carried out immediately.”
