1 Mins read

Sinn Féin Councillor Tony McCaul has welcomed the decision by the Causeway Coast and Glens Leisure and Development committee to give the go ahead to a play park in the village of Feeney.

Mr. McCaul said “I am glad my fellow councillors have supported this project and it will now proceed to the full council to be ratified.”

“This is great news for the village of Feeney as they will be receiving this brand new and exciting equipment which the whole community can make use of especially as it will be disability accessible. Work will begin in this financial year and will hopefully be ready for the better weather.”

Sinn Féin East Derry assembly candidate Cathal Ó hOisín added “This is the latest in a series of good news stories for Feeney with the recent announcement of 4g network coverage that is soon to be implemented and the opening of a state of the art Community centre there which was visited by Sinn Féin Vice President Mary Lou McDonald recently.”Crioch
