McKillop offers deepest condolences after death of motorcyclist in Glenarrif

SDLP East Antrim Councillor, Margaret Anne McKillop has expressed her deepest condolences following the tragic death of a 31 year old man in Glenarrif.

Councillor McKillop said:

“It is with great sadness that I have learned of the death of a 31 year old man on Saturday Night in Glenarrif. The tragic accident happened on the Glenariffe Road just after 6pm when his motorcycle struck a telegraph pole.

“As I understand it, the man was travelling with another motorcyclist who was not involved in the accident.The man was taken to hospital following the accident but later passed away.

“I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends following this tragic news.”
