Men due to appear in Court over Ballymoney Drugs Seizure

Two men aged 31 and 32 have both been charged with two counts of possession of a class B controlled drug and two counts of possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply. The 32 year old man has been further charged with possessing ammunition without a certificate. Both men are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court on the morning of Thursday 7 January.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow the arrest of the two men and the seizure of mephedrone and herbal cannabis with an estimated value of approximately £25,000 when a car was stopped on the Frosses Road near Ballymoney on the evening of Tuesday 5 January.
