POLICE are appealing for information after money was stolen from a man in Portstewart.
Constable Shields, the investigating officer, said that at about 9.45am on Monday, 19th, a man was walking up steps at the Promenade when he was grabbed and pushed to the ground by two men. They stole money that he had just obtained from a cash machine.
Information can be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
