Motion calling for better, inclusive Play Park facilities passed by Full Council

A motion brought forward by Deputy Mayor Councillor Darryl Wilson calling for better Play park facilities for all children across the Borough passed it’s final hurdle last night.

The motion was as follows : “That Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council develop and implement a programme of works to ensure that facilities/apparatus for Children with disabilities is installed in play parks across the entire Borough with a view to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to share and enjoy local park facilities together

Commenting, the Deputy Mayor said : “Council will now develop and implement a programme of works to ensure that facilities/apparatus for Children with disabilities is installed in play parks across the entire Borough with a view to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to share and enjoy local park facilities together.”
