On Wednesday 25 November a group of year 12 girls from North Coast Integrated College travelled to Loreto to take part in workshops which promote women in STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Maths).

The girls, along with their peers from other schools across the borough, attended talks facilitated by representatives from CAFRE, the Nerve Centre, QUB School of Nursing, NRC, Citibank and the Engineering Training Centre.

The day was extremely informative and highlighted the wealth of opportunities in careers within Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
