NIFRS responded to a call this morning to smell of smoke on the Castlerock Road area of Coleraine
A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson told Causeway Coast Community:
“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 10:57am to a report of a smell of smoke at the Castlerock Road area of Coleraine this morning (Tuesday 18th August).
“2 Fire Appliances from Coleraine Fire Station were deployed to the scene of a transformer on fire in the lighting area of a medical resource centre in the area.
The incident finished at 11:14am and is being treated as an accidental fire.”
