NIFRS tackle Car Fire in Maple Drive, Coleraine

Firefighters were called to the Maple Drive area of Coleraine in the early hours of this morning (Friday 6th May) following reports of a car on fire.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 1:10am to a report of a car on fire at the Maple Drive area of Coleraine this morning (Friday 6th May).

“One Fire Appliance from Coleraine Fire Station was deployed to the scene. Firefighters dealt with a car well alight in the area.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 1:48am and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.”
