NIFRS were called out to reports of a fire in a flat in Limavady on Wednesday.
Two appliances from Limavady station responded to an incident in Drumachose Park in the town where a fire in the hallway of a first floor flat was reported.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet and deployed a covering jet to deal with the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to ensure the fire was extinguished and there were no other hot-spots.
Smoke alarms had actuated in the property, however neighbours had already called NIFRS.
