1 Mins read

For the past two nights, residents of Coleraine’s Millburn Housing Estate have been complaining to their local community association about a loud, droning noise coming from the nearby Kerry Foods Packaging Factory.

Upon contacting the factory regarding these complaints, the head of Millburn Community Association, Mr Billy Ellis was told that the noises were “not loud enough for complaint”

However Mr Ellis disputes this and has said that the Community Association has been inundated with calls about the matter for the past two nights, and that he will contacting the Northern Ireland Environment Agency about this matter.

Councillor William McCandless said he had been made aware of the matter and has committed to investigating it further.
