Ó hOisín welcomes £2.7million funding for Broadbridge Primary School

1 Mins read

Sinn Féin assembly candidate for East Derry Cathal Ó hOisín MLA has welcomed the allocation of funds to Broadbridge primary school by the DEL minister John O’Dowd.

Mr. Ó hÓisín said “Funding of £2.7million has been agreed which will see the creation of 7 new classrooms to accommodate the ever growing pupil numbers at the school.”

“This is another sign of my colleague Mr. O’Dowd the education minister working hard to deliver for the people of East Derry as he has repeatedly shown with the creation of new Irish language schools and improved facilities for others and the creation of a school gym in St. Mary’s Limavady to name a few.”

He added “This £2.7m investment is an investment in the future of our young people. The improved and new accommodation will provide better facilities for young people to learn in and an improved working environment for all the school staff.”Crioch
