Ó’hOisín expresses concern over Limavady graffiti

1 Mins read

Sinn Féin assembly candidate for East Derry Cathal Ó hOisín MLA has condemned the recent spate of graffiti in the Glens area of Limavady.

Mr. Ó hÓisín said “This recent trend is very worrying and I can only hope there are no sinister undertones behind the threat of people being shot. This is not the type of threat local people want to see plastered around their community and the signal it sends out.”

“While the addition of “fruit shoot” may be funny the people who did this must consider the person who lives in this house and how this is affecting them and the effort it will take to clear this mess up.”

He added “I would appeal for anyone with information to bring it to the police so that the people who carried out this vandalism can be dealt with in the appropriate manner.”
