Ombudsman seeking witnesses to RTC between Police Car and Pedestrian in Portrush

The Police Ombudsman’s Office has appealed for witnesses to a road traffic collision between a police car and pedestrian in the early hours of Thursday 18 February.  The incident occurred near the entrance to Kelly’s nightclub close to the Dunluce Road, Portrush shortly after 2.00am.

A spokesman said: “We are looking to speak to other motorists who may have seen what happened or any bystanders who were in the area at the time.”

“Anyone who believe they can assist is asked to contact our witness appeal line on 0800 032 7880.”
