Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle parked at Kenbane Castle carpark, Whitepark Road, Ballycastle.
Constable Crawford stated: “The theft happened between 4pm and 4:45pm on Wednesday 09 September. The front passenger door window of a Seat Leon car was smashed with a lump of concrete. A Motorola mobile phone and a brown coloured handbag were then taken from inside. The car was being driven by an Australian tourist and the handbag contained a some cash and personal items.
“The tourist was upset at losing her personal belongings.”
“Anyone with information that may assist police or who may have seen anything that seemed to be suspicious is asked to call us on the non-emergency number 101.”
