Police are appealing for information following two thefts from parked cars in the Dowland Road area of Limavady on the afternoon of Saturday 22 August.

It is reported that a wallet was stole from one of the vehicles.

Constable Coyle said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Limavady Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“There have also been reports of thefts from cars in the Armoy, Ballintoy and Ballymena areas on Saturday afternoon, therefore I would also always remind the public to take all handbags and valuables out of parked cars. Thieves can often be opportunist and this simple crime prevention tip can deny them the opportunity to steal from you.”
