Police are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at a house in the Woodbourne Crescent area of Coleraine on Saturday, 14 May.

At approximately 10.00pm as the female occupant came down her stairs she observed an unknown male in her house.  On seeing her the intruder ran out the door. Nothing was reported stolen.

The intruder is described as being approximately 5’7” tall, of thin build and wearing a navy/dark tracksuit with the hood up.

Sergeant Watt has appealed to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact officers in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.  Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
