POLICE are appealing for information about a theft from a vehicle.

Constable Adrian Gillan said a man parked his Mercedes van at West Strand Avenue in Portrush on Friday evening, 7th.  The following evening, a friend discovered that a small monitor for the reversing camera had been stolen.  An iPod was also stolen.

The monitor is of no use without the accompanying wiring loom and the camera and it is likely that the thief mistook it for a self-contained sat-nav system.
Information can be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
