Police “aware” of pre-arranged fight in Limavady

1 Mins read

Police in Limavady have become aware of the possibility of a pre-arranged fight between youths in the Limavady area this evening.

In a statement posted on the PSNI Limavady Facebook page, police said “We would just like to warn youths about the dangers of getting involved in this kind of activity. We are giving you fair and due warning that anyone caught engaging in this kind of incident will face the very real possibility of being arrested and put before the courts.”

“You may think that this type of activity will be fun but you can easily be seriously hurt. Think about what you are doing and do not get involved.”

“Parents also need to take responsibility for what their children get up to when out and about with their friends”
