Police carry out Speed Checks in Dervock following complaints of residents

1 Mins read

Ballycastle Neighbourhood Police Officers have been carrying out a speed check in Dervock village after receiving continued complaints from local residents.

Some of the complaints are regarding the excessive speed of large lorries and agricultural vehicles when travelling through the village.

A PSNI Spokesperson said: “Please remember this is a built up area where children are often out and about playing. The speed limit is there for a reason so please slow down and show consideration when passing through the village.”
