Police Granted More Time To Question A 50 Year Old

Detectives investigating the murder of Anthony McErlain in Ballycastle last week have been granted additional time to question a 50 year old man.

The 48 year old was found dead in an flat in Broombeg View on Thursday evening, 28th January.

The senior detective leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Talbot, said: “The arrested male was detained in Ballycastle on Friday night and a judge has now granted us more time to question him about Mr McErlain’s murder.”
