Police in Coleraine are investigating a report of a suspicious male calling at an address in Portstewart claiming to be from a financial company.

Sgt Burns said “The caller requested occupants names and date of births, when asked for identification the caller left. Police are requesting that you are vigilante and always ask cold callers for identification, if you have any concerns reference any callers to your house ring Police on 101 or in an emergency ring 999.”
