Police investigating overnight burglary in Coleraine

“UPDATE : 18.36 Tuesday 26th April : A police spokesperson told Causeway Coast Community : A 21 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.  

In a social media status Jenna Rogers says :  “We have retrieved some of our stuff back and that too is being going through seems to be all there. However, my bag is in a right state with all the cracked eggs inside. Hopefully will get the stuff back soon once the police has sorted it. Thank you so much to everyone who was there over the weekend.”


Police have received a report of an overnight burglary in Willowfield Avenue, Coleraine on Saturday 23rd April.

A number of items including a TV and handbag were taken.

Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone who can assist the police investigation is asked to contact officers in Coleraine on 101.

The owner of the house, Jenna Rogers and her brother, Shane Rogers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community, Jenna said : “I still have no idea who it was. I have found my purse in a neighbours bin. Cash was stolen but thankfully my pictures were still there.

Still no car keys or house keys or Shane’s School bag with his memory pen containing two years of work.

Police do have cctv footage which they are looking into.”
