1 Mins read

Police have been keeping people safe on the roads in the Kilrea and Rasharkin areas at the weekend.

A number of fixed penalty notices were issued for offences such as use of a mobile phone while driving, and a person was also referred for prosecution for possession of a class A drug.

A PSNI Spokesperson said:

“We want to reduce incidents on the roads and ensure that all road users get home safe.”

“Please drive safely, reduce your speed, wear your seatbelt, don’t use a mobile phone while driving and never drive under the influence of drink or drugs.”
