Police issue warning about Lottery Scam Email

Police are warning members of the public to be wary of emails they receive regarding a lottery linked to the forthcoming European Football Championships

Detective Constable Crooks of the PSNI Economic Crime Unit is warning the public to be aware that this lottery scam is once again doing the rounds and we are aware that people in Northern Ireland are being targeted with this type of scam letter.  We would advise that you should not be tempted to reply to any form of correspondence that you think might be a scam and report it to Action Fraud here
