Police are currently in the Feeny area following a report that an explosive device has been left in the vicinity. An anonymous telephone call was passed to police on the evening of Tuesday 24 November.

Superintendent John Magill said: “At this time we are focussing on the Carnanbane Road and Banagher Road areas, however no object has been found at this time.

“I would ask local people to be vigilant. If you see any suspicious objects please do not touch them, instead inform police straight away by dialling 999.”
