Over the past couple of weeks, we have received information from a concerned resident regarding the future of the pools at The Crescent in Portstewart.
The pools are filled with sand since the storms hit the port and hence are now sandpits and not usable as pools. The resident in question contacted Coleraine Borough Council about two weeks ago to complain about the sand filling the site and was informed that the sand will remain permanently depending on the number complaints they receive about getting rid of the sand.
