PSNI’s Human Trafficking Unit have extradited a 33 year old man from Sweden

Detectives from the PSNI’s Human Trafficking Unit have extradited a 33 year old man from Sweden as part of an investigation into controlling prostitution and human trafficking three years ago. Detective Inspector Mark Bell said: “The suspect had been in Sweden and was detained under a European Arrest Warrant. He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow on a series of charges including human trafficking and controlling prostitution.”

GUIDANCE: Last week a 30 year old woman was extradited from Sweden on similar charges and was remanded in custody by Belfast Magistrates Court.
