Reports of Rat Infestation in Portstewart Housing Estate

Sinn Féin Assembly candidate Caoimhe Archibald has expressed concern at reports of a rat infestation at a housing estate in Portstewart.

Caoimhe Archibald said, “We have received reports to our office from a number of residents of Swilly Close,
Portstewart complaining of a rat problem. We have contacted Environmental Services who have advised us they will investigate today to try to identify the source and will subsequently advise residents following this.

“We will be in contact with them again this afternoon to request an update.
