Second man has died as a result of a two vehicle road traffic collision this morning

Police can confirm that a second man has died as a result of a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Cushendall Road in Ballycastle early this morning.

The 26 year old man died in hospital as a result of his injuries. Two females remain in a critical condition in hospital.

Inspector Mick Wood is continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Cushendall Road at the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit or local Police in Ballycastle on the non-emergency number 101.

The Cushendall Road has now reopened to traffic.
