Sinn Féin assembly Candidates for East Derry Cathal Ó hOisín MLA and Caoimhe Archibald met with Billy Moore of North Coast Community Transport after the announcement that NCCT will benefit to the tune of £82K of the £400K budget reallocated to the 11 Community Transport Partnerships.
Caoimhe Archibald said after the meeting “This funding will have a major impact on service delivery for the remainder of the next financial year in the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area.”
Cathal Ó hOisín ,who is also Assembly Private Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development added ‘the additional £179k from DARD to deliver the payment on buses for community transport is a game changer for the East Derry and North Antrim Constituencies, and the elderly, disabled and isolated community there.”
