Storey saddened by assault in Ballymoney

1 Mins read

North Antrim DUP MLA and Social Development Minister Mervyn Storey has spoken of his sadness at the news that a young man has sustained a serious head injury in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the young man and his family at time. This was not the way the evening in Ballymoney should have ended, it is a tragedy for all involved. The people in the town are shocked by the incident.

This town is a good place to to live, work and socialise. I trust those responsible will be brought to justice.

I would appeal to anyone with any information, that can help the PSNI with their enquiry to do so.”
