Suspended Sentence for man who threw bottles at passing car.

A 21 year old man from Coleraine has received a suspended sentence for throwing a bag of bottles at a passing car.

Nathan Harkin pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage amounting to £850 to a car travelling along Market Street. In his defence he told the court that there had been a gap in his offending and he had planned to move to England to live with his Mother.

Judge McNally handed down a five month sentence, suspended for three years and harkin was ordered to pay £300 to the victim.
